In late 2018, he shot at a suspect’s car during an attempted robbery at a gas station, resulting in felony charges for shooting at an occupied vehicle. He was released on bail shortly thereafter. In early 2019, he faced arrest again for felony possession of a firearm.

In October 2022, Blueface was apprehended in Las Vegas, Nevada, facing charges for attempted murder and shooting. He was incarcerated at the Clark County Detention Center and later accepted a plea deal, agreeing to serve three years of probation. Should he violate this probation, he faces a potential sentence of 2-5 years.

The incident transpired at Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club in Las Vegas. Following the event, the club’s owner filed a lawsuit against Blueface due to lost revenue as a consequence of the club’s closure. On October 23, 2023, a judgment of $13 million was awarded to the owner, broken down into $12.6 million for lost revenue, $200,000 in “lease damages,” and $84,000 for employee expenses. Blueface did not contest the case in court nor did he have legal representation. By January 2024, without any payments toward the damages, his debt escalated to $14 million due to added interest and penalties.

In mid-January 2024, he was arrested again for breaching his probation linked to a 2021 assault in the San Fernando Valley.

Early Life

Blueface, born Jonathan Michael Porter on January 20, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, initially lived with his mother in the Santa Clarita Valley before relocating to Oakland to live with his father. Upon returning to the Los Angeles area, Porter attended Arleta High School, where he participated in the marching band and served as the starting quarterback for the school football team, leading them to an East Valley League championship in 2014. He later played football at Fayetteville State University in North Carolina but left the institution in 2016.
