In July 2020, a cease and desist order was issued to Khalifa by Bang Bros in response to her allegedly defamatory remarks about the company and the adult industry. Khalifa accused BangBros executive Jordan Sibbs of tricking her into participating in an erotic photo shoot while posing as a Vogue photographer. She stated that those now infamous photos were published on the Bang Bros website without her permission. She tweeted her concerns: “I just want B*angbros to stop actively putting me in harm’s way by promoting my 6-year-old videos like they’re new, making millions of people think I’m still active.
